A BRIEF JOURNEY THROUGH JUDITH`S LIFE
- Judith was Australia`s very first international pop princess and pin-up girl who caused millions of men to fall in love with her - and many have remained that way!
- Last year Judith undertook her "Diamond Tour 2003", beginning in May and finishing on July 13th at the Bristol Hippodrome. There was a Gala concert at London's Royal Festival Hall on July 3rd, the day of her 60th birthday.
- "Judith's 40th Anniversary Celebration Tour" in 2001 was a triumph, with the last concert filling the Sydney Opera House.
- She holds the Associate In Music, Australia [A.Mus.A.] for classical piano - and studied with the renowned teacher, Ronald Farren Price.
- Judith is also a serious ragtime pianist and ragtime composer.
- As a teenager, she dreamed of starring in opera or musicals, but started in traditional jazz, gospel and blues.
- She is a prolific composer and lyricist of more than 200 inspirational and philosophical songs and has composed a full-scale musical 'Gotta Be Rainbows'.
- Her career highlights encompass international TV specials, international solo concert tours and nine solo albums.
- Judith co-wrote the classic Seekers song "Colours Of My Life" with David Reilly.

- Many fans travel halfway round the world to hear that one in a million 'golden voice'.
- So many men fell secretly in love with Judith that mentioning her to almost any male over 50 elicits the same response: "Ah, Judith Durham. I`ve always been in love with her ...", and they all think they`re the only ones! It isn`t just restricted to the over 50s either. Yet Judith never ever knew, thinking all those early years that she wasn't pretty enough to attract the opposite sex.
- Judith was married for 25 years to London-born brilliant pianist Ron Edgeworth who died in 1994 of Motor Neurone Disease [MND].
- She was awarded the Order Of Australia Medal [OAM] for services to music, particularly as an entertainer and composer.
- With the Seekers, Judith is the only female singer with a 60s hit in the top 100 selling UK records of all time: "The Carnival Is Over".
